Summary:

Comcast-Spectacor is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Print Traffic Manager to manage print and design projects for their internal advertising agency. 3601 Creative Group is a full-service, innovative marketing communications agency responsible for creating, developing and implementing all electronic and print advertising, as well as promotional materials for all of Comcast-Spectacor’s entities and other clients in the Philadelphia region and throughout the country.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a graphics-related field from accredited college or university
• Minimum of two (2) years of professional project management experience, preferably in a design studio or advertising agency setting
• Must have a positive attitude
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Solid computer skills – must know Macintosh and PC
• Direct knowledge of print and design
• Must be a responsible, detail-oriented problem solver
• Good time management skills necessary, will be handling multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to work independently and also collaborate as a team member
• Ability to work well under pressure and within tight deadlines
• Ability to work well with others
• Ability to follow through
• Ability to organize and prioritize
• Familiarity with cost and time estimation for print and design projects

Responsibilities:

• Open, coordinate and track design and internal print job requests from commencement to completion, making sure each job is completed correctly and by the client’s due date.
• Evaluate new job requests submitted by clients in order to schedule through production.
• Assign resources and estimate time required in coordination with the Art Director.
• Schedule the Designer’s time and make sure he or she has everything needed to complete the job.
• Update and maintain currency of Clients & Profits database, paper and computer job files for each job.
• Meet with department heads and staff daily to discuss project details
• Formulate an updated project schedule, daily.
• Ensure staff members are following departmental procedures regarding time and costs
• Identify and inform management of any roadblocks/issues in a timely manner to keep the project on target
• Obtained client approval during each step of the process
• Notify clients of missing required items from clients to complete job
• Resolve outstanding issues involving initial job specifications, edits, deadlines, etc. with Art Director and Designers.
• Give 100% customer service with a “How You Doin’ attitude”.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Open to COLLEGE STUDENTS ONLY, Junior, Senior, and Graduate Students
• Must receive academic credit (students are required to provide documentation of receiving academic credit for the internship experience)
• NO financial compensation is available for any position
• NO interviews will be conducted by phone
• Travel and housing arrangements are the responsibility of the students
• Some game nights and/or weekends may be required
• Part-time or full-time opportunities available

AVAILABLE POSITIONS:

GRAPHIC DESIGN

• Assist the Art Director and Graphic Designers in advertisement design, editorial layout, brochure design, etc.
• Work closely with designers to make edits to files on an ongoing basis
• Maintain computer files in an organized fashion
• Aid in production of four, two, and single color pieces
• Active participation in the “brainstorming” sessions related to proposed Graphic Services projects
• Assist in production and finishing of game and event related materials
• Scan images supplied from team and building marketing departments
• Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned

VIDEO PRODUCTION

• Learn all aspects of our production facility and assist in various hands-on aspects of video production
• Attend live sporting events to see our facility in action
• Melt game tapes to highlight reels, dubs, and logging
• Act as production assistant on video shoots
• Various office tasks i.e. picking up/dropping off mail
• Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned
