ASST. BOX OFFICE MANAGER - Augusta Entertainment Complex (Augusta, GA)

Reports to: Box Office Manager

Supervises: Box Office Ticket Seller Supervisors, Ticket Sellers and Parking Attendants

Type: Full-Time; Salaried; Exempt

Location: Augusta Entertainment Complex, Augusta, GA – Global Spectrum

Summary: Assists the Box Office Manager with day-to-day operations of the box office and assists with ticket operations, utilizes software for all event creations and financial reports, maintains all box office policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
• One to two (1 – 2) years of experience in a Box Office/Ticket Operations, including supervisory experience
• Strong oral and written communication skills required
• Capable of working a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, holidays, extended work days and extended numbers of days
• Experience utilizing the New Era / Paciolan ticketing system
• Work a flexible schedule including early mornings, days, evenings, overnight, weekends, holidays, extended (long) work days and extended number of days

Job Functions:

• Perform all Box Office Managers duties in the absence of the Box Office Manager
• Provide overall supervision of Box Office staff, including hiring, training, scheduling and payroll.
• Oversee all policies and procedures in relation to processing group and premium sales orders
• Oversee the maintenance and reporting of ticket scanners
• Prepare and reconcile event parking tickets and monies
• Establish and maintain a professional working relationship with all levels of arena staff and clients
• Assist in the maintenance of the facility’s ticket operations, season ticket printing, advance sales, customer relations, and game/event day box office management
• Assist facility with reporting needs, processing etc. and ensure the proper use of ticketing system
• Responsible for cash handling and box office controls
• Supervise and oversee all financial settlements in regards to sales recaps for staff members
• Process financial reconciliations such as daily reports, event statements and monthly reports
• Assist Box Office Manager in building all facets of events in the ticketing system
• Complete all duties with a customer service focus through teamwork and dedication to HYD principles
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

CORPORATE SALES MANAGER - Front Row Marketing Services (Augusta, GA)

Location: Augusta Entertainment Complex/James Brown Arena & Bell Auditorium (Augusta, Georgia)

Status: Full Time; Salary + Commissions

Reports To: Project Manager, Regional Director & Regional VP


Summary:  The Corporate Sales Manager is responsible for working with and assisting the Project Manager and Regional Director in executing club seat and advertising sales and servicing effort on behalf of the James Brown Arena and the Bell Auditorium, which makes up the Augusta Entertainment Complex, in Augusta Georgia.  Basic function includes club seat and corporate sponsorships sales along with finding ways to grow revenue for the building while maintaining high levels of client services.

Essential Job Functions:

• Responsible for prospecting, selling, cultivating and maintaining club seat and corporate sponsorships sales for the complex
• Responsible for making cold calls & sales presentations for the complex
• Responsible for servicing and fulfillment of club seats for all events (Includes but not limited to processing and mailing tickets, contracts, assist in updating and sending collateral, and follow-up of meetings)
• Servicing and fulfillment of Corporate Sponsorship contracts of building and events
• Responsible for working and attending all events, promotions, complex events and Front Row Marketing events
• Completing and updating reporting systems
• Creation and development of sales presentation materials and collateral materials
• Liaison with accounting, box office, team personnel, building personnel and Front Row Marketing Services
• Attend weekly sales meeting and create reporting system to corporate
• Responsible for working with outside agencies/vendors to get all corporate partnerships signage created and placed
• Responsible for creating year end recaps for corporate partners
• Responsible for communicating to client and prospects through various means including direct contact, newsletters, corporate partner gathering, etc.
• Work with the marketing department on opportunities to cross sell corporate partners
• Other duties as assigned by General Manager of building, Project Manager, and Regional Director

Qualifications:

• Demonstrates or has prior advertising/sponsorship experience/knowledge of local corporate market
• Previous experience in a similar working environment
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
• Proficiency with data processing and MS Office applications
• Ability to work nights, all events, weekends, and certain holidays as required, in addition to normal business hours

 Summary:     

The Event Manager will manage every aspect of assigned events from the advance planning stages through the end of the event; occasionally hire, train, schedule and supervise all event staff, as well as oversee building and parking security and interact with local public safety officials to ensure events run smoothly; coordinate communication between event staff and delegate assignments; be responsible for and ensure overall customer and lessee satisfaction and experience.

Qualifications:

-       Bachelors degree or higher from an accredited college or university with major coursework in facility management, hospitality management, business management, marketing or related field

-       One to three years of increasingly responsible experience in event management in a stadium, arena, convention center or public assembly facility setting

-       Additional years of experience may be substituted for formal education, licenses or certificates

-       Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing

-       Must have computer skills in Microsoft Office applications and word processing, spreadsheets, database, AutoCAD, presentation and Internet software

-       Review emergency planning procedures with event staff for each event

-       Create and distribute detailed data sheets prior to every event

-       Assist and direct changeover attendants with setup and breakdown of events

-       Coordinate with Finance/Payroll as needed to ensure event staff and other applicable parties are paid

-       Coordinate service needs with food and beverage department as needed

-       Serve as Manager on Duty as scheduled

-       Complete all duties with a customer service focus through teamwork and dedication to HYD principles

Summary: The Operations Manager manages, supervises and coordinates the day-to-day operations of the facilities. Provides overall administrative planning, direction, and policies to operating supervisors to assure the highest quality service program to clients and events.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree from accredited college/university in a related field (Facility Management, Engineering, Sports Management etc.)
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in building maintenance and building conversions, including supervisory responsibilities
• Possess superior interpersonal and strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to function in an fast-paced, high-pressure environment, handle multiple tasks at one time, meet deadlines
• Must be self-motivated with strong leadership abilities and organizational skills
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office required
• Working knowledge of operational equipment including but not limited to: forklift, pallet jacks, scrubbers, floor buffers, mechanical lifting devices, staging, retractable seating risers, basketball floors
• Ability to follow written instruction, interpret AutoCAD drawings and blueprints
• Forklift certification is necessary

• Establish and maintain relationships with vendors

• Prepare departmental payroll for hourly employees
• Coordinate, and review the work plan for changeover, facility maintenance and operations; meet with staff to identify and resolve problems; assign work activities, projects and programs; monitor work flow; review and evaluate work products, methods and procedures.
