ASSISTANT BOX OFFICE MANAGER - Budweiser Event Center (Loveland, CO)

Summary:
The Assistant Box Office Manager is responsible for assisting all ticketing operations for Budweiser Events Center including daily operations of the box office and any potential outlets. Responsibilities include servicing of all Premium Services clients with ticket requests as well as assisting marketing department with report requests; account for all cash received, verifying daily cash reports, maintaining accurate bookkeeping documents, and depositing all ticket receipts. Supervise and train up to two full-time employees or the equivalent in part-time employees at any given time and have the authority to hire or fire and the authority to make recommendations for hiring and firing of employees.

Job Functions:
•Prepare the daily cash deposits, reconciling daily ticket sales, and work with finance department to resolve any issues in regards to daily sales being out of balance.
•Assist in the development of an effective and efficient box office staff by hiring qualified workers, providing appropriate supervision, enforcing operational policies and procedures published in a box office operations manual, and evaluating work performances.
•Help to assure that ticket buyers receive good customer service and have a positive experience with the Box Office by training representatives in customer service techniques, monitoring the performance of staff, complying with customer requests to the extent possible, and solving problems quickly and to the satisfaction of the customer.
•Responsible for servicing and fulfillment of Premium Services ticket order in a timely matter and with utmost courtesy (i.e. suite holders and club seat licensees).
•Contribute to the marketing effort of the Budweiser Events Center by assisting in the development of marketing and promotional activities which are cost efficient and increase revenues, recommending improved box office operational methods and procedures, preparing reports for marketing staff, corporate sponsors, other constituencies and the general public.
•Safeguard parking tickets and facilitate all cash checked in and out, by verifying banks and parking sales using reconciliation reports and making deposits of parking sales appropriately.
•Maintains competency and professional currency through self-directed professional reading, developing professional contacts with colleagues, attending professional development courses, and attending training and/or courses requested by the Box Office Manager.
•Update and troubleshoot the computerized ticketing system and software .
•Manage business objects software by troubleshooting when scheduled daily reports fail, modifying scheduled reports when needed, and on a monthly basis delete reports that are over a month old.

•Manage all aspects of ticket scanners including setup, tear down, maintenance, etc. and assist in event scan reports and drop counts to Event Manager during closing procedures following each event.
•Contribute to the overall success of the Budweiser Events Center by performing all other essential duties and responsibilities as assigned.
 

Qualifications:
•Degree from an accredited college/university is preferred; high school diploma or the equivalent is required.
•Minimum of three (3) years experience in customer service related field and management.
•Completion of technical or specialized training or education in personal computers and experience in Microsoft Office software (i.e. word and excel) preferred.
•Ability to work as part of a team and independently with minimal supervision.
•Demonstrated responsibility in handling large sums of money.
•Strong supervisory skills, and excellent interpersonal skills, particularly in dealing with the public, are required.
•Ticketing experience preferred, but not required.
•Proven time management skills and reliable at adhering to time sensitive deadlines as required
•Flexible – must be available to work evenings, weekends and all event days as assigned.

Job Title: Changeover Facility Worker

Reports to: Operations Changeover Manager/ Operations Manager

Summary

  • Performs the set up and changeover of the arena event to event, to ensure complete adherence to the event schedule and tenant contractual specifications and requirement.

Job Functions:              

  • Responsible for complete facility changeover as required by the event schedule and facility guidelines.
  • Performs operation of heavy equipment and machinery.
  • Assist with emergency repairs to arena equipment to ensure the success of the changeover.
  • Perform related duties and responsibilities as required.

Qualifications:

  • Have a high school diploma, GED, or related trade school training; valid Colorado driver’s license; and interpersonal skills necessary to deal effectively with other staff.
  • Be reliable, honest, dependable, and punctual.
  • Knowledge of general tools necessary to perform changeovers in the arena.

  • Technical license preferred.
