CORPORATE PARTNERSHIPS SALES MANAGER - Front Row Marketing (Anchorage, AK)

Summary:

The Corporate Partnership Sales Manager is primarily responsible for generating new business revenue with local, regional and national companies through the sale of integrated sponsorship packages of?the University of Alaska Anchorage Athletic Department assets. The Corporate Partnership Sales Manager will sell fully integrated marketing, media and promotional programs that include marketing rights, on-premise signage, game sponsorships, promotions, event marketing, media exposure and select premium seating elements.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in advertising or sports sponsorship/arena sales
  • Experience in the Alaska/Anchorage marketplace preferred
  • Proven track record of generating new business and retaining clients
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in sales, public relations, business administration, hospitality management, or other related field
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Work, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to spend time on the road conducting sales pitches to new prospective clients
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays is required
  • Outstanding communication skills are essential for interactions with clients, operational leaders ?and other senior executives.

Job Functions:

  • Work with the Director of Corporate Partnerships to Implement the goals, objectives, policies, and priorities of all corporate sales programs and activities
  • Prospect, sell, activate and maintain corporate sponsorships, advertising and premium seating partnerships for the UAA Athletic Department and events
  • Regularly engaged in the business of making sales, and presentations away from the primary place of business
  • Design sales proposals and presentations for potential corporate partners
  • Prepare advertising, sponsorship and premium seating contracts and addenda; identify issues with contract language; address issues with and make recommendations for resolution; negotiate corporate sales pricing and other rates as required
  • Achieve UAA corporate partnership revenue goals and budgets
  • Work with UAA Athletic Department to coordinate the fulfillment of all aspects of contractual obligations including tickets, signage and other branding and promotions
  • Meet with corporate partners and outside agencies at their place of work to get all branding created and placed in a timely manner
  • Interact in a professional manner with senior level University executives and management
  • Oversee the service of corporate partnerships through various means including direct contact, newsletters, partner gatherings and client entertainment events
  • Identify key open categories and new categories as prospective new business leads
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Renew and grow existing corporate sponsorship and media partnerships through continued outstanding service and up selling of additional sponsorship assets into current partnership agreement
  • Track prospecting, sales and inventory, and manage sales reports
  • Manage corporate sales and select premium seating inventory in a fiscally responsible manner
  • Other duties as assigned

CORPORATE SALES COORDINATOR - Portland Pirates- Front Row Marketing (Portland, ME)

Job Description:  This position is responsible for the sales, coordination and fulfillment of corporate partnership agreements for of the Portland Pirates of the American Hockey League and the Cross Insurance Arena located in Portland, ME.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for organizing, maintaining, and fulfilling all corporate sponsor agreements and their outlined contractual obligations.

  • Responsible for reporting sponsorship data on a weekly basis to the team, league and management

  • Responsible for creating season recap of season for corporate partners

  • Responsible for servicing all corporate sponsorships through various means including, but not limited to, direct contact and corporate partner gatherings

  • Responsible for making cold calls & for sales presentations on behalf of the team and venue

  • Responsible for working and attending team events, promotions, venue events

  • Responsible for cultivating and building a good working relationship with different personnel and departments with the team

  • Responsible for invoicing clients for partnership dollars and collecting those dollars

  • Other duties as assigned by Regional Director and other Spectra executive personnel

     

    Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3+ years in sales with extensive sponsorship sales experience; industry experience strongly preferred

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Demonstrates or has prior advertising/sponsorship experience/knowledge of local corporate market and/or industry

  • Bachelor’s degree or better from an accredited college or university

  • Proficiency with data processing and ALL MS Office applications (including Power Point, Word and Excel)

  • Ability to work nights, all events, weekends, events and holidays as required

  • Ability to work independently both efficiently and effectively

  • Ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize and meet strict deadlines

  • Ability to thrive in a team atmosphere

Summary:

Oversee and manage the sale and servicing of corporate sponsorships, advertising and select premium seating partnerships for the Sarnia Sting account.  The Director of Corporate Partnerships shall be responsible for the overall success of the corporate sales for the Sarnia Sting.

  • Work with FRMS Regional Vice-President to identify opportunities for assistance from FRMS Corporate HQ to increase sales, prospects and opportunities

Job Summary: The Manager of Corporate Partnerships is responsible for the coordination of Corporate Partnership Sales and Servicing for St. Cloud State University.  General management and sales duties will include:

Job Functions: (including but not limited to)

  • Assist the Director in selling, servicing & fulfillment of Corporate Sponsorships for building and events
  • Create and implement Corporate Partner policy and procedure
  • Provide top level of customer service to all Corporate Partners clients
  • Assists external staff and box office staff as it relates to Corporate Partners
  • Develop and implement marketing plan to sell Sponsorship inventory
  • Create and develop premium presentation materials
  • Participate in weekly sales meetings and calls as it relates to objectives set by Director and or Regional Director
  • Servicing & fulfillment of clients for all events

  • Administer corporate partnership sales reporting and tracking
  • Other duties as appropriate for a manager

Qualifications:

  • Prior advertising/sponsorship/premium seating experience/knowledge of local corporate market and/or industry required
  • Previous experience in a similar working environment; supervisory experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experiences
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in the English language
  • Proficiency with data processing, MS Office applications and overall computer skills
  • Ability to work nights, all events, weekends, events and select holidays as required
