QUALIFICATIONS:
• College juniors, seniors or grad students in related majors
• 3.3 GPA or higher preferred
• Highly-developed verbal and written communications skills.
• Proficiency in word processing and related applications, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented with ability to handle multiple assignments.
• Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail.


JOB FUNCTIONS:
• Conduct market research and update regularly for projects.Utilize the internet to find detailed information pertaining to all fields in market research template
• Track all projects on a weekly basis by researching recent press releases/articles on the internet, local newspapers, and/or phone/email correspondence to potential clients
• Coordinate sales packets of company information to be sent to potential and existing clients.
• Research venues, markets, competition, etc.
• Compile information on existing Global Spectrum managed facilities.
• Assisting with RFP production process (collating, binding, etc.).This may require additional time spent in the office when the RFP Response is going to ship to meet its deadline
• Typing/writing sales letters to potential clients
• Manage contract and business development files
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Administration/General Management: General Management/Profit & Loss
GENERAL MANAGER - Global Spectrum (Macau, XX)

Company: Global Spectrum Asia

Venue: Theater of Dreams

Location: Macau

Reports to: Regional Vice President; COO

Supervises: Department Directors; All Facility Staff


Summary:
Responsible for overall management, promotion, and operation of the facility, including construction, purchasing, policy formulation, booking, marketing, finance, food and beverage, box office, advertising, security, production, maintenance, and related operations. Gives direction to each department, as needed, through each department’s director.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or better from an accredited college or university in Business/Hospitality Management or related field.
• Graduate of IAAM Public Assembly Facility Management School desirable
• Relevant certification (i.e., CFE, CMP, etc.) preferred
• Minimum of seven (7) years of increasingly responsible management experience in an Arena, Convention Center, Hotel or other similar public assembly facility, including experience managing Director-level employees
• Fluency in Chinese (Cantonese) and Portuguese languages preferred
• Proven leadership skills
• Demonstrated knowledge of facility operations, budget preparation and personnel management
• Ability to apply conflict resolution and problem-solving skills in a team-oriented environment
• Ability to express ideas clearly through both oral and written communication
• Superior Sales and Marketing skills
• Knowledge of budget preparation and control

Core Responsibilities:

• Oversee applicable departments for the facility
• Develop relationships and interact with service providers
• Provide cost analysis for operations as it relates to facility management
• Manage capital projects and coordinate efforts to reduce costs
• Actively pursue new business opportunities
• Develop and implement sales and marketing programs
• Attend conferences and trade association meetings
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
