Summary:

Primary responsibilities include all administrative and operational tasks at rinks with the Ed Snider Youth Hockey Foundation including, but not limited to, associated functions at the Wachovia Complex and at other locations in the Philadelphia area.

Qualifications:

• College juniors, seniors, or graduate students working for earned credits
• Applicant must be reliable and posses a general willingness to assume any and all jobs with an ability to work in very high profile situations
• Candidates must have the ability to creatively and enthusiastically handle demands and work in a fast paced, high volume environment
• Strong computer skills are needed
• Ice hockey experience is helpful but not mandatory

Job Duties:

• Assist as an ESYHF coordinator for rink activities in the Philadelphia area.
• Assist in the preparation and coordination for all ESYHF events, and other events conducted by Comcast-Spectacor entities.
• Attend meetings, assist with internal and external inquiries, maintain databases, and conduct preliminary research.
• Assist in the preparation and distribution of promotional materials.
• Assist with the control & planning for merchandise and equipment inventory.
• Assist with activities for potential ESYHF sponsors, contributors and partners.
• Assist in developing and maintaining website, newsletter and related materials.
• Occasional night/weekend duties and travel within Philadelphia area are required.
• Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
